I want a larger display for checking focus and viewing exposure information while using Live View on a Nikon D7500. If I connect an external monitor, will it show the Live View image along with key on-screen info such as shutter speed, ISO, aperture, and focus appearance? If so, how is it enabled?

Yes, if connected via HDMI and enabled in the menu: Setup > HDMI > Advanced > Live view on-screen display > On

Yes. On the Nikon D7500, an external monitor connected via HDMI can display the Live View feed. To show the on-screen shooting information, enable it in the camera menu: Setup > HDMI > Advanced > Live view on-screen display > On.
Based on similar Nikon behavior, the HDMI output closely mirrors the camera’s Live View display, though a few minor indicators may not appear. The important information is typically shown, and the larger screen can make it easier to judge focus and review settings like shutter speed, ISO, and aperture while composing.
