Can a Nikon D7000 save photos to both the computer and SD card during Lightroom tethered capture?

I'm using a Nikon D7000 with Lightroom's tethered capture feature. The photos transfer directly to my computer, but they do not appear to be saved to the camera's SD card at the same time. Is there a setting or workaround that lets the D7000 save each shot both to the computer and to the memory card during tethered shooting?

After deep searching I found that the right function name is "Tethered Capture" and that there is a Nikon limitation acquiring images in tethered mode. It seems there is no way to save images both on SD and PC while Canon can do it.

With the Nikon D7000, Lightroom’s feature is called tethered capture, and the camera appears to be limited in this mode: images are sent to the computer instead of being recorded to the SD card as well. Based on the reported behavior, there isn’t a camera/Lightroom setting on the D7000 that enables simultaneous save to both the PC and the memory card during tethered shooting. In short, for this Nikon model, the answer is effectively no.
