Sean is available to instruct: Understanding Your DSLR / Mirrorless Camera (Buttons & Functions, Exposure & Metering, Composition & Photographing), Point & Shoot Camera (Buttons & Functions), Photoshop CS5+ / Lightroom 3+ / Elements 9+, Printing and Color Management

Understanding Your DSLR: Buttons & Functions: Your instructor will review all of the main buttons on your camera and what they are used for to create an image. After the exterior of the camera is throughly taught, the internal camera functions are then explained in detail to help you have a better understanding on how to use your DSLR. Some examples your instructor will review are the following: Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, ISO, Fstop/Aperture and Shutter Speed. These will help you take your camera off automatic and prepare you to enter the world of controlled manual settings.

Understanding Your DSLR: Exposure & Metering: Understanding the basics of exposure and metering are the building blocks to becoming a good photographer. Your instructor will teach you these fundamental basics of photography such as the relationship between f-stops and shutter speeds, as well as understanding the positives and negatives of ISO/ASA sensitivity with your image sensor.

Photoshop CS5+: This two hour class provides personal instruction on how to use Photoshop. If you are a beginner and would like to learn the basic tools of Photoshop or more advanced and would like to learn additional tips, techniques and tricks to advance your skills, our team of instructors can help!

Lightroom 3+: This two hour class provides personal instruction on how to use Lightroom.If you are a beginner and would like to learn organization and image retouching in Lightroom or more advanced and would like to learn additional tips, techniques and tricks to advance your skills, our team of instructors can help! 

Elements 9+: This two hour class provides personal instruction on how to use Photoshop Elements. If you are a beginner and would like to learn the basic tools of Elements or more advanced and would like to learn additional tips, techniques and tricks to advance your skills, our team of instructors can help!

I am a graduate from Montclair State University, where I have received my Bachelors of Arts Degree with a photography concentration. I have also earned my Associates Degree of Fine Arts with a concentration in Studio Photography from Sussex County Community College. Most of my knowledge in photography can be credited to these institutions, yet I am constantly learning new things from friends, colleagues, my current and past jobs, and experiences in life. After spending a few minutes talking with me, it is easy to see that I'm a bit of a tech nut. I'm always first in line to pick up a new piece of tech, whether it is a camera, phone, tablet, lens, etc. Though I may not be currently working as a wedding or event photographer, I still get out every day to photograph and truly experience the world of photography.Landscape, Street, Travel, Portrait (both studio & on location), & Basic Event Photography.

I am the company purchaser for Leica but no brand is off limits to me. Canon, Nikon, Sony, Samsung, Pentax, Olympus, and my favorite Fujifilm all make incredible cameras for the inspired (and not yet inspired) photographer. Fujifilm X-Pro, Canon EOS / FD, Nikon, Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Pentax / Ricoh. Along with my knowledge of cameras, I am also proficient in Mac & PC photo editing software: Adobe Photoshop CS X.X, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Canon Digital Photo Professional, SilkyPix.
