Take shots from a wide-angle or zoom-in to capture close-ups with the Nikon 28–70mm f/2.8 D Lens. The lens fits on to Nikon F-mount cameras. Its optical design comprises 15 elements in 11 groups. Two Extra-low Dispersion elements and a single aspherical element is included to combat chromatic and spherical aberrations. A super integrated coating is applied to reduce ghosting and flare. The silent wave motor gives quiet and smooth autofocus down to a distance of 2.3 feet. You can manually override the autofocus setting any time. The internal focusing mechanism maintains the overall barrel length. With the 9-blade diaphragm, you obtain rounded bokeh in the blurred background. A 77mm screw-in filter is attachable on the front thread.
