The Sony FE Distagon T* 35mm f/1.4 ZA Lens captures images with a pleasant, shallow depth of field. It is designed for Sony full-frame E-mount cameras. Its design is inspired by the Zeiss Distagon optical concept and includes 12 elements arranged in 8 groups. In these elements, there is one Advanced Aspherical (AA) element and three aspherical elements that minimize spherical aberrations throughout the focus range. With the Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating, the lens ensures reduced ghosting and flare. The lens is equipped with a direct drive Super Sonic Wave AF motor that offers accuracy while quickly focusing on the object without making noise. An AF/MF switch is also provided to give control over the focus range. Images can get a soft-focus, bokef effect in the background with the nine-blade diaphragm. This lens has a moisture- and dust-resistant design, as well as rubberized focus and aperture rings that facilitate working in extremely cold weather.
