The Canon 6D Mark II DSLR Camera offers shallow depth of field with its full-frame sensor, which every photographer desires. This camera can be fitted with Canon EF mount lenses. The 26.2 MP full-frame CMOS sensor works in tandem with the DIGIC 7 image processor to enhance the low-light performance. You can compose the shot or playback recorded videos with the 3.0-inch vari-angle touchscreen LCD. The 45-point all-cross type AF system provides an accurate and fast focus performance whether taking a still shot or recording a video of a moving subject. With this camera, you can record 1080p videos at 60 fps and take continuous 26.2 MP shots at 6.5 fps. Mount an external flash to the hot shoe. Enable the built-in Wi-Fi to send images to smartphones or remotely control the camera. The camera runs on an LP-E6N rechargeable Li-ion battery pack.

Optics and Focus

The Canon 6D Mark II uses the 45-point all-cross type AF system for the focusing work. It includes 45 phase detection points to offer improved subject tracking. This focusing system ensures flawless operation even in dim lighting as low as -3 EV. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF supports focusing on video applications. You can tap on a particular part on the LCD screen to focus on that area in the scene. The mechanical shutter speed has a maximum limit of 1/4000th of a second.

Sensor and Screen

The Canon 6D Mark II DSLR comes with a full-frame CMOS sensor that provides 26 MP high-resolution images. Also, the 7560-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor contributes to the image quality by reducing light flickering. The 3.0-inch vari-angle touchscreen LCD offers a 1.04m-dot resolution view. Additionally, the LCD has an anti-smudge design to resist fingerprints. You can tilt the LCD to use the camera from a high or low angle. The pentaprism viewfinder offers a 0.71× magnification of the image and a diopter adjustment from -3 to +1 m. The LCD covers 100% of the frame area while the viewfinder covers 98% of the frame.

Image and Video

This Canon DSLR camera takes 26 MP stills with a maximum resolution of 6240×4160 dpi in JPEG and RAW format. The movie mode makes the camera can record Full HD 1080p videos at 60 fps. The DIGIC 7 image processor complements the HD video recording as well as the continuous shooting mode at 6.5. This camera comes with a built-in HDR that captures three images of the same shot with different exposures and composites in a single image. The time-lapse function is ideal for recording cinematic interludes.

Other Features

Send images to your smartphone with the built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Near Field Connectivity function allows you to control the camera from your smartphone. The integrated GPS tracks your currents location that can be tagged to the captured images. The hot shoe makes you mount an electronic flash unit and synchronizes it with the shutter speed up to 1/180th of a second. You can delay the shutter release by setting the self-timer at 2 or 10 seconds. The camera has a dust- and weather-sealed body that ensures safety for the internal mechanism in inclement weather.
