Capture stunning portrait shots with blurred background by using the Nikon 58mm 1.4G AF-S Lens. This prime lens equips to Nikon FX, 35mm film, and FX format F-mount cameras. For crop sensor cameras, the lens offers a focal length of 87mm. Its lens design includes 9 optical elements in 6 groups. Two aspherical lenses are placed among the other elements to reduce spherical aberrations. The Nano crystal coating reduces internal reflections while the Super Integrated Coating minimizes the effects of ghosting and flare. This lens provides a quiet and accurate autofocus thanks to the Silent Wave Motor. The fast aperture of f/1.4 makes the lens capture bright images even in low light as well as creates a pleasant shallow depth of field. This wide aperture is contributed by the rounded 9-blade diaphragm to produce a circular bokeh. A 72mm circular filter can be attached to the front thread.
