The Sigma 56mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens is specially designed by Sigma, for APS-C Mirrorless Cameras, including Canon EF-M mount, Sony E mount, & Micro Four Thirds cameras, as a high performance prime lens, with a large F1.4 aperture. The "Contemporary" line of Sigma lenses provides a perfect blend between image quality, & compact physical design. This particular lens, from the Contemporary line of lenses, is made to impress, with a beautiful "bokeh" effect, during the use of selective focusing techniques.
This Sigma Global Vision series of lenses is designed to provide you with a large maximum aperture, for high-quality imagery in low lighting, & enables the ability to create depth of field. The lens's optical design, along with its stepping motor, produces a smooth autofocusing experience during video applications. The design of this lens fully supports "Fast Hybrid AF" with Sony E-mount cameras, providing Sony-users with super-fast AF functionality. The use of "Face Recognition AF" enables consistent autofocusing on faces, even throughout the movement of your subject.
