OVERVIEW
The Tamron 18–400mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD Lens offers color sharpness at both close-up and long range. It is made for Nikon DX-format cameras with an F-mount system. This lens has 16 optical elements in 11 groups, which include three aspherical and three low-dispersion elements to reduce chromatic and spherical anomalies throughout the zoom range. Thanks to the HLD AF motor, the lens provides quick, precise, and near-silent autofocusing. The seven-blade electromagnetic diaphragm smoothens the out-of-focus background. A Vibration Compensation image stabilizer is integrated into the lens to reduce camera shakes while shooting handheld. The lens can be connected to an optional TAP-in console that allows you to adjust the focus parameters. You also get a hood with the lens, which is useful when shooting in bright conditions.
