The Sigma AF 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens is used for capturing clearer photos of stars as well as for shooting in low-light conditions. This lens can be used with all Nikon cameras that have an F mount. Its optical design has 16 elements arranged in 11 groups, which include 3 FLD, 4 SLD, and 4 aspherical elements to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations. Additionally, the super multi-layer coating lessens the effect of ghosting and lens flare. The lens comes with a nine-blade diaphragm that provides a smooth and rounded bokeh. This lens ensures fast and noise-free autofocusing with its Hyper Sonic AF motor. Also, the lens lets you switch to manual mode to override the autofocus setting. A thermally stable material is used for the lens body, while its bayonet mount is made of brass.
