A 3/8-inch 16 screw on the carriage allows you to attach a flat base tripod head for added versatility. The cheese plate on the underside of the rail makes it easy to mount the slider at the center using the multiple threaded ¼-inch -20 and 3/8-inch -16 holes. The bubble level system is integrated into the carriage to provide leveling assistance on uneven terrain.
