Overview

The Lomography Lomo Automat Cabo Verde instant camera manifests the traditional values of analog photography maintained by the brand. This camera is designed to be used with a Fujifilm Instax Mini film. It has a 60mm focal length lens with a maximum aperture of up to f/8. The camera’s zone-focusing system offers a three-focus range from 0.6 m to infinity. This unique camera’s lens cap can be used as a remote shutter release for clicking pictures from a distance. The camera comes with two shooting modes: the bulb mode as well as an automatic shutter. Other important functions like automatic electronic flash, multiple exposures, digital exposure counter, colored gel filters, and a tripod mount are also included in the camera.

Optics and Focus

This Lomography camera is designed with a 60mm focal length lens that is ideal for point-and-shoot photography. This camera uses a zone-focus system that can be set at three ranges, 0.6 m, 1–2 m, and infinite. The fully automatic shutter decides the appropriate speed required for the current scene. Also, the camera automatically adjusts the aperture and flash to get optimum results in images. There are two shooting modes in the camera, viz. auto and bulb. The auto mode enables you to click pictures without worrying about the exposure setting, while the bulb mode gives you 30 seconds of exposure to work with.

Screen and Sensor

A direct optical viewfinder is incorporated into the camera, which lets you analyze the scene before taking the final shot. The light-metering function too can be utilized for efficient photography under both bright and dim lighting.

The Lomo Automat Cabo Verde instant camera is specially made for use with the Fujifilm Instax Mini film. Its multiple exposure modes come in handy when you need to layer up multiple shots in one frame. Further, with the provided colored gel filters, you may give a unique creative touch to your images.

Other Features

The built-in flash in this Lomography camera allows you to capture photos at night or in dark areas. The flash guide number up to 9 m lets you know the required exposure for different scenes. You may trigger the camera from a distance using the infrared remote control that is integrated into the lens cap. With it, you can operate the camera from up 2 m when outdoors and 5 m when indoors. The digital LED film counter denotes the number of exposed frames. You may attach a filter on the front 43mm thread. The Lomo Automat Cabo Verde is compatible with close-up, wide-angle, and fisheye lenses. Moreover, you may get quirky with your images, thanks to the camera’s splitzer compatibility that lets you slice your photos. This camera can be mounted on a tripod to click shake-free shots. It runs on two CR2 batteries and has a lightweight design.
