EXPO: Creating Professional Videos with Juan and Wrangel (Black Magic)

Juan Ortiz is a filmmaker from Trenton, New Jersey. When Juan isn't producing projects for his company Redd Pen Media, he's helping fellow filmmakers with their projects as a Sound Mixer, Camera Op, or Producer. Juan’s motto in life is living to give, and values forging relationships that helps communities grow. His passion of filmmaking comes from projects that are documentaries, commercials, and stories that move people to be better versions of themselves. Since a kid holding his grandfather’s VHS camcorder to film family cookouts, filmmaking has been a big part of Juan’s life.

He is currently in his 11th year of business with Redd Pen Media and enjoys sharing his life experiences to help people find their Why and Fulfillment in life.

Wrangel Lubin is a Director from Trenton, NJ who got his start by working in the grip and electric department. He’s worked as a gaffer or key grip for several companies such as; Puma, Netflix, HBO, BET, and many others. To this very day, Wrangel spends several hours practicing with light as a tool to enhance his storytelling.
