OVERVIEW

The SM5c is amaran’s first-ever RGB smart pixel LED strip light for creators. Featuring intuitive pixel effects and Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant integration, the amaran SM5c is the perfect accent light for instantly transforming at-home setups or video studios with a wave of color and curating an environment for inspiring creativity and innovation.

With 300 RGB LEDs over 5 meters, the SM5c is a high-density strip light that creates saturated colors and pixel effects. Using its advanced circuitry, the SM5c smoothly transitions between its 100 pixels, while remaining flicker-free at standard frame rates.

As the first amaran light to feature both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, the SM5c can be controlled via smart speakers, including Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, for hands-free lighting control. For total customization, creators can use the Sidus Link mobile app to unlock the full suite of smart light features, including various color modes, 21 Pixel FX, and Pixel Control of up to 25 light segments.

Featuring a built-in microphone, the SM5c can also act as a real-time audio visualizer by synchronizing its 100 pixels to any audio track.

For illuminating larger spaces, the strip light can be extended by an additional 5-meters (16.4ft) with the amaran SM5c Extension.* By producing one continuous light effect over 10- meters (32.8ft), the Extension creates a truly expansive environment.

The SM5c’s frosted diffusion and simple installation process produces a soft glow, whether mounted along ceilings and walls or behind bookshelves, cabinets, and tables.

Additional Notes from Manufacturer

• Do not use the SM5c while coiled in the LED spool for long periods of time to prevent overheating and damage to the SM5c.
• The minimum bend diameter of the SM5c is 5cm (1.97in). Do not wrap the SM5c around objects with a diameter less than 5cm (1.97in) or fold the strip light in half.
• To produce optimal lighting effects via Music Effects, the audio source should be approximately 30cm (11.81in) away from the built-in microphone.
• When installing the SM5c along corners, it is recommended to use the double-sided tape for additional reinforcement.
• Do not cut the SM5c, as some lighting and pixel effects will be incomplete.
• The SM5c controller can support a maximum length of 10m (32.8ft). The SM5c should not be extended beyond this length.
