Overview

The Tamron SP 15–30 F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 Lens features a robust yet lightweight design that houses high-power optics for crisp image quality. Designed for Nikon F-mount cameras, the lens has 18 elements arranged in 13 groups, in which eXpanded Glass Molded Aspherical and Low Dispersion lens elements are included to ensure edge-to-edge clarity and accurate colors. These elements have an anti-reflection eXpand coating as well as eBand and BBAR coatings to suppress ghosting and flare. The Dual MPU system maintains a precise functioning of the focusing system. With the VC image stabilization, the lens reduces camera shakes by 4.5 shutter stops. The 9-blade diaphragm creates circular bokeh in the background. An optical TAP-in console can be connected to the lens for adjusting the focus parameters and updating its firmware. The front element has a fluorine coat to protect it from dust and moisture. You can use the lens in inclement conditions without any worries as its barrel has weather-resistant seals.
