The Tamron SP 70–200mm f/2.8 Di VC Lens is tailor-made for wild-life or sports photography. This telephoto lens offers compatibility for Nikon F-mount lenses. The lens construction includes 23 optical elements in 17 groups with 4 Low Dispersion and a single Extra-low Dispersion element to reduce chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range. Additionally, the elements have Tamaron's advanced multi-layer coating to reduce ghosting and lens flare. With the Ultrasonic Silent Drive AF motor, the lens offers a fast and quiet autofocus performance. The 9-blade diaphragm provides a smooth bokeh quality. Your handheld videos become stable thanks to the Vibration Compensation image stabilization. The moisture resistant design allows you to use the lens in inclement weather. A removable tripod collar is provided with the lens to get additional stability when mounted to a camera.
