The Sony DSC-RX100 Mark III is a high-powered point-and-shoot digital camera, designed for capturing memorable scenes and moments. This digital camera has a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 2.9× lens built in. The 20.1 MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and a BIONZ X image processor come together to render a rich photo quality and deliver high performance, even when shooting in a continuous manner. You may increase the camera’s ISO sensitivity to 12800 and boost the shutter speed to 1/2000th of a second. The camera can record 1080p videos at 60 fps in the XAVC S format. A 3-inch, multi-angle, Xtra-fine LCD is located at the rear, which lets you get a 1229k dot-resolution view of the scene at hand as well as the captured media. The built-in WiFi with NFC connectivity allows you to transfer photos to smartphones as well as other compatible devices.

A backside-illuminated technology is integrated into the sensor to minimize noise when shooting in dim light. The 3-inch LCD lets you navigate through the camera settings and playback the captured videos and photos in 1229k dot resolution. Also, you may tilt the LCD to use the camera from a high or low angle. The WhiteMagic technology makes it comfortable to view the LCD under the sun or in bright conditions. Image and Video

This Sony DSC-RX100 III camera can take still shots with a maximum resolution of 5472×3648 dpi in both JPEG and RAW formats. In the continuous-shooting mode, it can capture 20.1 MP burst photos at 10 fps. This camera is designed to record full HD videos at a frame rate of 60 fps. These video and photo capture capabilities are supported by the Bionz X image processor, which also shortens the shutter lag to 0.008 seconds and start-up time to 1.6 seconds.

Other Features

The built-in flash in the Sony DSC-RX100 Mark III provides an effective range of up to 10.2 m on a wide lens and 6.5 m on a telephoto setting. A zebra-clipping function is included in the camera to warn you about overexposure. You may ask your subject to smile for an automatic shutter trigger, thanks to the feature called Smile Shutter.
