Combining advanced Nikon lens technologies with the legendary Micro NIKKOR optics, the Nikon AF-S Micro 60 mm f/2.8 G ED Lens is capable of achieving great results with every subject. It features a nanocrystal anti-reflective coating, which eliminates internal lens element reflections across wavelengths. The ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass lens, which is used with the regular optical glass in telephoto lenses, helps correct chromatic aberrations. Also, use the aspherical lens elements with non-spherical surfaces on both or one side of the glass, for eliminating lens aberrations. You can switch from manual to auto focusing or the other way round, without any lag time, by simply turning the focusing ring on the lens.
