Capturing a fast-paced action from a distance becomes easy with the Nikon 500mm f/4 DII Lens. This lens fits all Nikon DX-format cameras. Its optical construction comprises 11 elements in 9 groups. In these elements, there are three extra-low dispersion elements that offer edge-to-edge sharpness. Moreover, a super-integrated coating is applied on the lens elements to enhance light transmission and reduce ghosting. The silent wave motor helps in noise-less focusing on objects, even from a minimum distance of 4.6 m. You may override the autofocus setting in the manual mode. Thanks to the nine-blade diaphragm, the lens creates a rounded bokeh in the out-of-focus background of images. Also, the internal-focusing mechanism does not alter the original length of the lens.
