The Minolta MD 50mm f/1.4 Rokkor-X Lens is the right choice when capturing images with a shallow depth of field. This lens can be used with all Minolta SLR cameras made between 1958 and 1998. The lens has seven optical elements arranged in six groups. An optical coating is applied on each of the elements to prevent anomalies in images. The lens has a manual focus that can be used for capturing pictures of objects as close as 1.5 ft. A 49mm filter thread is provided on the front of the lens, which allows you to attach compatible hoods and filters to it. The barrel and filter thread are made of metal, which ensures durability.
