The Mamiya C330 is a twin-lens reflex camera specially made for beginner photographers. The twin lenses perform two separate functions: viewing the scene and capturing the image. This camera comes with an 80mm f/2.8 lens and works with both 120 and 220 roll films. It can shoot with a fast shutter speed of 1/500th of a second. With the multi-exposure selector, you may shoot a single frame or multiple depending on your requirement. The camera lets you attach a bulb for taking shots with long exposures. Thanks to the parallax indicating lines, the camera allows you to capture macro images without worrying about the picture getting cut off or seeming blurred. With the interchangeable lens design, you may attach different types of lenses with the camera.
Optics and Focus
This Mamiya camera comes with an 80mm f/2.8 prime lens that is designed with 5 optical elements in 3 groups. This lens offers manual focusing, which can be done with the extension of bellows to get a clear shot of objects from as close as 35.4 cm. The camera has a multi-exposure selector that lets you switch from single exposure to multiple as per your scene requirement. You may increase the shutter speed to 1/500th of a second.
Sensor and Screen
The Mamiya C330 comes with twin lenses: one meant for viewing and focusing on the scene or subject, and the other for capturing the image. You may also use different types of viewfinders with the camera. This camera comes with parallax indicating lines that let you zoom in for beautiful macro shots and prevents blurring or cutting off of images.
Image and Video
This classic film camera from Mamiya works with both 120 and 220 roll films that offer 12 and 24 exposures, respectively. You may change the exposed frame by turning the pressure plate at 90°.
Other Features
The Mamiya C330 comes with M and X synchronization terminals for connecting bulb and electronic flash devices. Both M-class and electronic shutters can be synchronized at all shutter speeds. The camera can be mounted on a tripod for improved stability. Additionally, you may fix a grip on to the camera's tripod socket. This camera is completely mechanical and doesn't require any batteries.
