Its advanced 24.3 MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor teams up with the X-Processor Pro engine for capturing high-quality images with nuanced colors and smooth tonal transitions, as well as less noise, moiré, and aliasing. Use the intelligent Hybrid 273-point autofocus for automatically focusing on subjects in a quick and accurate manner. The inbuilt WiFi makes it possible to transfer imagery to various devices. This camera is built with four pieces of magnesium alloy, and is tightly sealed in more than 61 places to make it dust-resistant, moisture-resistant, and freeze-proof up to 14° F.

Optics and Focus

The X-Pro2 Mirrorless camera from Fujifilm is compatible with a wide range of Fujifilm X-mount lenses that provide amazing focal lengths and apertures. The intelligent Hybrid 273-point autofocus system allows you to automatically focus on subjects quickly and accurately. It includes 273 points, with 77 of these being phase-detection points that facilitate faster performance when shooting moving subjects. The ISO sensitivity of the camera ranges between 100 and 51,200, while the shutter speed ranges from 30 seconds to 1/32,000th of a second. The camera's exposure and white-balance modes are essential for numerous photography scenarios.

Sensor and Screen

This Fujifilm mirrorless camera’s 24.3 MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor lets you capture high-quality images with nuanced colors and smooth tonal transitions, with reduced noise, aliasing, and moiré. The 3-inch LCD screen offers a resolution of 1.62 M dots for accessing menus and viewing the captured content with incredible clarity. The 0.48-inch, 0.59× Advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder combines both the optical and electronic viewfinders. It offers a resolution of 2.36 M dots, which provides immense clarity when viewing scenes under ambient lighting scenarios. Both the screen and viewfinder provide a coverage rating of 100%.

Image and Video

In addition to taking RAW and JPEG photos at its highest resolution of 6000×4000 pixels, the Fujifilm X-Pro2 records Full HD 1080p footage at 60 fps in the MOV and MPEG-4 AVC/ H.264 formats. The X-Processor Pro engine renders imagery at a high speed without compromising on quality. You may also shoot up to 83 JPEG frames and 33 RAW frames continuously at a burst rate of 8 fps.

Other Features

The X-Pro2 is made from four pieces of robust and lightweight magnesium alloy, and is firmly sealed in more than 61 places for resistance to dust and moisture. The camera is also freeze-proof up to 14° F. The milled-aluminum alloy dials and levers on the camera’s top plate help in conveniently making settings adjustments. Use the inbuilt WiFi for transferring imagery to a majority of devices, as well as for controlling the camera remotely via the proprietary Fujifilm Camera Remote app. For extra storage, this camera comes with dual SD card slots that are compatible with the UHS-II Standard cards for those impressive write speeds. Apart from the Grain Effect and Film Simulation modes, the camera’s multiple-exposure mode and advanced filters enable you to express your creativity on your photos and videos.
