Optics and Focus

The M3 Rangefinder camera from Leica is designed to be used with a range of M-mount lenses that offer impressive focal lengths and apertures. The camera’s manual focus is accurate, regardless of what lens is attached, thanks to the rangefinder focusing system. The shutter of the camera works in the bulb mode or at speeds ranging from 1 second to 1/1,000th of a second. Making your photography experience hassle free are the automatic parallax compensation and the interlocking shutter-release functions.

Sensor and Screen

The Leica M3 Rangefinder camera’s 0.91× optical viewfinder comes with frame lines for 50mm, 90mm, and 135mm frames, so you can choose as per the photography requirement. The included clip-on light meter determines the appropriate aperture and shutter speed, so you get the right exposure for your scene.

Image and Video

The Leica M3 Rangefinder camera utilizes a 35mm film roll for taking pictures of scenes and subjects. After every shot, you can advance it manually with the camera’s manual film-advance lever.

Other Features

The x/m sync flash connection in the Leica M3 gives you the liberty to mount an external flash for taking bright photographs of your subjects, even in low-light areas.
