Overview

THIS IS A USED ITEM

Condition: Fair

The Nikon D7000 DSLR camera exhibits high-resolution photo and video capture capabilities along with customizable AF functionality. This DSLR camera works with Nikon F-mount lenses. It is equipped with a 16.2 MP DX-Format CMOS sensor for rendering high-quality images with reduced noise. Thanks to the EXPEED 2 image processor, the camera offers even tonal transitions and high-speed shutter and AF response. The camera captures up to 100 continuous frames at a speed of 6 fps and Full HD videos at 24 fps. Use the built-in Speedlight flash with iTTL and wireless commander to trigger up to 8 Speedlights at a time. This Nikon DSLR is powered by an EN-EL15 Li-ion battery that makes it take up to 1050 still images per charge.

Optics and Focus

The Nikon D7000 is built for Nikon F-mount cameras. With the native ISO range of 100–6400, the camera provides high-quality images in different lighting conditions. The Multi-CAM 4800DX AF sensor module includes 39 phase-detection points having 15 cross-type sensors to give accurate and fast autofocus response. Additionally, the 2016-pixel RGB sensor with a 3D color matrix enhances subject tracking. The Scene Recognition System adjusts the camera settings for the white balance, exposure, and iTTL flash as per the lighting conditions.

Screen and Sensor

This Nikon DSLR camera works on a 16.2 MP DX-Format CMOS sensor that produces vibrant images with minimum grain. Use the rear 3.0-inch, 921K-dot LCD for image composition and media review. Also, the wide viewing angle of 170° allows you to see the screen contents with ease. The bright pentaprism optical viewfinder has a 0.94× magnification and 100% screen coverage. You get 100% frame coverage with both the viewfinder and LCD.

Image and Video

The Nikon D7000 produces still shots with a maximum resolution of 4928×3264 pixels. Apart from the JPEG format, you may choose the RAW recording option to get full control over the image look in post-processing. Additionally, the RAW image can be processed in-camera using the retouch menu. The camera can shoot Full HD 1080p videos at 24 fps. In the continuous-shooting mode, the Nikon D7000 takes up to 100 images in the JPEG format at 6 fps. The EXPEED 2 image processor restricts noise when shooting in low light. It equalizes tonal transitions and ensures highly accurate color rendering.

Other Features

The built-in flash has an effective range of 8–39 feet. You may also mount an external flash on the hot shoe. Furthermore, the iTTL support with wireless commander allows you to fire up 8 electronic strobes at the same time. With the dual memory card slots, you can operate the camera for a longer duration. It also enables you to store NEF and movie files in separate cards. The integrated self-timer lets you delay the shutter release by 2, 5, 10, or 20 seconds. Use the included EN-EL15 Li-ion battery pack to power the Nikon D7000.
