The Nikon AF Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 Lens gives a wide-angle view that is ideal for capturing vast landscapes as well as large structures and groups in a single frame. This lens is designed for FX format Nikon F-mount cameras. The lens design uses 9 elements in 9 groups. A super integrated lens coating is applied to the element to reduce lens flare and ghosting. You can employ autofocus function for select cameras having built-in AF functionality. Otherwise, use the manual focus to capture crisp shots of objects from a distance as close as 30.5 cm. The 7-blade diaphragm produces a smooth bokeh in the background. You can manually adjust the aperture number with the dedicated control ring. Reference the focus distance and depth-of-field scales on the lens to achieve the required exposure for the scene. A 52mm circular filter can be attached to the front thread.
