The Tamron SP AF 1.4x Tele-Converter is designed for Canon EF lenses to extend their actual focal lengths. You can attach it to telephoto lenses not wider than a 90mm lens and aperture opening larger than f/2.8. It has 5 optical elements in 4 groups. These elements are multi-coated to ensure well-saturated images. The teleconverter allows electronic communication between the lens and camera to employ autofocus.
