The Tamron 70–200mm f/2.8 G2 Lens provides optical consistency throughout the zoom range. You can fit this lens to Nikon FX-format F-mount cameras. The optical design of 23 elements in 17 groups includes one XLD element and five LD elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing. Both BBAR and eBAND coatings are applied to minimize ghosting and lens flare. The ring-type USD AF motor offers fast and quiet autofocus performance. This camera features VC image stabilization that brings down the effects of camera shakes. The 9-blade diaphragm produces purely-circular bokeh. You can connect the lens to an optional TAP-in console to fine-tune the focusing parameters and update lens firmware. The dust- and moisture-sealed design allows you to use it in harsh weather conditions.
