It features a Piezo Drive autofocus system that is powered by a quiet and fast standing-wave ultrasonic motor in order to achieve instant focus for those sharp images. Use the Vibration Compensation function for providing optical image stabilization for reducing unwanted camera shake at long focal lengths and slow shutter speeds. Lastly, this lens has low dispersion elements that reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing in an image, as well as aspherical elements for rectifying spherical aberrations and limiting distortion.
