The Tamron 18–270MM F/3.5–6.3 DI II Lens offers consistent optical performance throughout its zoom range. Compatible with Nikon F-mount DX and FX format cameras, this lens can be used as an ultra-wide angle lens as well as a telephoto lens. The lens design has 16 elements in 13 groups with three hybrid aspherical and two Low Dispersion glass elements to reduce on-axis and lateral chromatic aberrations. The Piezo Drive ultrasonic AF motor offers a fast and quiet autofocus operation. Thanks to the vibration compensation IS, the effects of camera shakes are reduced. The 7-blade diaphragm creates a smooth bokeh in the background. This lens has rubber focus and zoom rings to improve handling. A gold band is placed between the zoom and focus rings, which enhances the overall appearance of the lens.
