The Canon 400mm f/4 DO IS II USM Lens provides an extreme close-up view of the scene. It can be fitted to full-frame Canon EF-mount DSLRs. The lens design has 18 elements in 12 groups that include aspherical and ultra low-dispersion elements to reduce spherical as well as chromatic aberrations. Additionally, the optimized lens coating minimizes ghosting and lens flare. An additional fluorine coat is applied to resist fingerprint marks. The ultrasonic AF motor with internal focusing system delivers a fast, near-silent and accurate focusing performance. Moreover, the power focus mode is ideal for video applications. Thanks to the Optical Image Stabilizer, the effects of camera shakes are reduced. Also, you can set the image stabilization to one of the three modes. The 9 rounded aperture blades create a circular bokeh quality. This lens has a weather-resistant design to keep dust and moisture at bay.
