For added flexibility, you can record UHD and Full HD videos at resolutions of 3840 x 2160 pixels and 1080p, respectively, by using ready-to-edit ProRes files in various ways within the 422 and 444 chroma sub-sampling variations, depending on your workflow.
Other Features
The dual CFast 2.0 memory card slots in the Blackmagic Design URSA Mini 4.6K are useful for accommodating dual CFast memory cards in order to record additional footage for longer durations by having the camera switch cards when one of them is full. This camera has plenty of professional-grade connections, which include HD-SDI monitoring out, timecode-in, reference input, 12G-SDI out, 2 LANC inputs, and balanced XLR audio with phantom power. Use the 2 inbuilt XLR mic inputs for capturing high-quality audio directly from the camera. This eliminates the need to carry additional audio-recording equipment.
