The Tamron 18–400mm f/3.5–6.3 Di II Lens has a broad focal range for capturing wide-angle shots and zoom-in to take close-ups of a distant object. This zoom lens is made for Canon EF-mount cameras. The lens design comprises 16 elements in 11 groups, which have 2 aspherical, 3 low dispersion, and a single hybrid aspherical element to correct both spherical distortions and chromatic aberrations. With the HLD AF motor, the lens offers a quick and silent autofocus performance. The 7 aperture blades are rounded to provide smooth bokeh quality. Thanks to the VC image stabilization, the lens ensures 2.5-stop vibration compensation when using the handheld technique. You can use the optional TAP-in console to fine-tune the focus adjustment and update the lens firmware. The lens has a moisture-resistant design that makes it ideal for nature photography.
