The Nikon 50mm f/1.8 Special Edition Lens generates high-contrast images with shallow depth of field. This lens works with both Nikon FX and DX cameras having an F mount. Its optical construction has seven elements arranged in six groups, which includes one aspherical element that ensures edge-to-edge sharpness and reduced color anomalies. These elements have a super integrated coating applied on them that suppresses internal reflections. The Silent Wave AF motor can quickly focus on an object without making any noise. A seven-blade diaphragm is integrated into the lens to create a beautiful defocused background with enhanced depth of field. The knurled focus ring provides immense grip.
