It has ED and Aspherical elements that aid in combating unwanted field curvature and chromatic aberrations. The lens’ maximum aperture of f/2.4 comes in handy for capturing portraits and other photos in low-light work, as well as enhancing out-of-focus backgrounds. In order to get more precise exposures, the lens has a 0.5x magnification rating, whereas the aperture ring comes with 1/3-stop click stops.
