This full-frame camera has an 18.1 MP CMOS sensor and Dual DIGIC 5+ processors. The camera comes with a 61-point High-Density Reticular AF system that can be controlled through a dedicated tab provided. Additionally, a separate DIGIC 4 processor has been assigned to the 100K-pixel RGB metering sensor. The camera records videos in full HD with a resolution 1920×1080 dpi at 30 fps and 720p videos at 60 fps. It comes with a dust-resistant magnesium-alloy body that makes it suitable for use in inclement weather.

Optics and Focus

This camera from Canon is designed with a 61-point High-Density Reticular AF system that offers quick and precise autofocusing. It provides 5 central-dual, 21 central, and 20 outer cross-type points. Also, this AF system can focus on objects in dim lights, up to EV-2. An AF-configuration tool is included in the camera, allowing you to manage the AI Servo AF III tracking parameters.
