The Sony XLR-K2M XLR Adapter Kit with Microphone XLRK2M is specially designed to connect professional-quality microphones. It can be connected to cameras equipped with a multi-interface shoe. Moreover, it can be connected to Sony's a7 series, RX series, and select camcorders. Additionally, it comes with a 2-channel XLR adapter box that is equipped with independent controls. This helps in providing recording level adjustment, attenuation, and wind noise reduction. In addition to that, a built-in mic holder is available that allows mounting of the ECM-XM1 shotgun microphone. The zippered carrying case helps in easy storage as well as convenient portability.
