Overview

The Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Art Lens for Leica L-Mount is a true 1:1, life-size macro lens that is well-suited for close-up & macro subjects. This short-telephoto prime is characterized by its sophisticated optical design, which consists of two FLD elements, and two SLD elements. Two aspherical elements are also included to limit both chromatic and spherical aberrations for high clarity, sharpness, & color accuracy. A Super Multi-Layer Coating improves image quality by suppressing lens flare & ghosting for improved contrast & color fidelity in strong lighting scenarios. Its rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing "bokeh" quality. Its coreless DC motor offers quick & accurate autofocus performance, along with full-time manual focus override. The physical design uses Thermally Stable Composite material for durability in range of environments, and a brass bayonet mount also offers durability and mounting precision.
