Overview

Advanced in technology and compact in size, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS70 Digital Camera - Silver is a versatile gadget for every casual photographer. It features a 20.3 MP 1/2.3-inch High-Sensitivity MOS sensor that allows you to capture photos and 4K UHD videos with reduced noise, astounding image quality, and high sensitivity. The 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. technology is useful for compensating for numerous forms of camera movement so that you can effortlessly capture sharp photos and videos, even in dark areas. The Post Focus function works in conjunction with the Depth from Defocus (DFD) technology and the contrast-detection focusing system in order to select a particular focus point after photographing your scene. Moreover, the inbuilt WiFi function makes it possible to transfer your captured content to numerous devices, and operate the camera remotely.

Optics and Focus

The built-in Leica DC Vario-Elmar 30× zoom lens in this camera, which provides an aperture of f/3.3–6.4 and a focal length of 24–720mm, comes with an optical construction of 12 elements in 9 groups, along with 5 double-sided aspherical elements. These reduce spherical aberrations and distortions throughout the entire zoom range to get greater sharpness and clarity. The Post Focus function teams up with the Depth from Defocus (DFD) technology and the contrast-detection focusing system to select a specific focus point when shooting a scene. The ISO sensitivity can be adjusted between 80 and 6,400 in the extended mode, while the electronic shutter operates at a speed of up to 1/16,000th of a second. The 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. technology enables you to effortlessly capture sharp imagery in dimly lit areas by compensating for many forms of camera movement.

Sensor and Screen

The Lumix DMC-ZS70 from Panasonic is equipped with a 20.3 MP 1/2.3-inch High-Sensitivity MOS sensor, which lets you shoot photos and 4K UHD footage with brilliant image quality, less noise, and high sensitivity. The 3-inch tiltable rear LCD touchscreen offers a 1,040,000-dot resolution for browsing menus and viewing captured images and videos with astounding clarity. The electronic viewfinder, which offers a resolution of 1.166 M dots, makes for a sensible alternative to the touchscreen, especially while capturing photos under ambient lighting conditions. Both the viewfinder and touchscreen provide a coverage rating of 100%.

Image and Video

The Lumix DMC-ZS70 is capable of recording 4K UHD videos at 30p in the MP4 format, in addition to shooting RAW and JPEG pictures at a resolution of up to 5184×3888 pixels. You can shoot pictures continuously at a maximum burst rate of 10 fps. Additionally, the 4K Burst, 4K Burst (S/S), and 4K Pre-Burst modes come in handy for a wide range of photography scenarios.

Other Features

The built-in WiFi facility in the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS70 lets you control the camera remotely, and transfer images and videos to many WiFi-enabled gadgets. The Picture Adjustment settings, along with the Still Image Scene Guide, Creative Control, and Photo Style modes, allow you to express your creativity on your photos. The internal storage capacity of this camera can be expanded by simply inserting an SD, SDXC, or SDHC card. A 1025 mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery pack powers this nimble camera.
