Take the first step towards assembling your camera kit by getting the Panasonic Lumix GH5 Mirrorless Digital Camera Body. This camera can be used with micro four thirds lenses. It has a 20.3 MP Digital Live MOS sensor that works in conjunction with the Venus Engine image processor. The camera shoots 4K and 1080p videos at frame rates 60 fps and 180 fps, respectively. Also, the camera offers a continuous shooting rate of 12 fps. It is designed with a 5-axis sensor stabilization and an advanced DFD autofocus system that can get the desired subject into focus in just 0.05 seconds. This camera has an OLED viewfinder with 0.76× magnification as well as a 3.2-inch swiveling touchscreen LCD. You may share your videos and photos with friends using the built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth. The magnesium-alloy body of this camera is compact in size.

Optics and Focus

The Panasonic Lumix GH5 camera offers a fast autofocus with its Advanced Depth from Defocus (DFD) technology that calculates the distance between the subject and lens in 0.05 seconds. There are 225 autofocus points that let you decide which part of the frame should be clear. Using the contrast-detection focus, the camera keeps the moving subject in a clear frame. The camera also offers manual focusing through focus peaking, which points out focus points in the scene by highlighting bright contrast edges with a colored outline. Additionally, with the Touch to Focus option, you may tap on the desired area of focus, and the camera will do its job. This Panasonic camera provides a maximum ISO sensitivity of 25600 and shutter speed of 1/16000th of a second.

Sensor and Screen

The Panasonic Lumix GH5 Mirrorless camera is designed with a 20.3 MP Digital Live MOS sensor, which works with the Venus Engine image processor for rendering photos and videos with stunning clarity. The camera also boasts the multipixel-luminance generation and intelligent detail processing that enhance sharpness and render accurately detailed images with reduced noise, no matter what the lighting condition. When shooting handheld, the 5-axis sensor stabilization helps in reducing camera shakes for steady frames. Additionally, the Dual I.S. 2 helps when certain lenses are used with the camera. The swiveling touchscreen LCD and OLED viewfinder are available for analyzing scenes before they are captured. While the viewfinder provides 0.76× magnification, the LCD screen has a resolution of 1,620,000 dots.

Image and Video

The Panasonic Lumix GH5 Mirrorless Digital Camera can shoot 4K videos at 60 fps as well as Full HD videos at 180p. As for the photo mode, the camera can generate pictures at a resolution of 5184×3888. There are various exposure and white-balance modes to choose from for experimenting with different scenes. Moreover, the different photo styles and creative-control modes let you bring uniqueness in each of your photos.

Other Features

This mirrorless camera from Panasonic comes with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth that allow you to not only share images and videos with other devices, but also control the camera functions remotely from a mobile device. The Panasonic Lumix GH5 supports in-camera processing of raw image files. The dual UHS-II SD card slots ensure unhindered shooting performance. This durable camera is made of magnesium alloy, and is splash- and dust-proof. On a single charge of its DMW-BLF19 rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, this camera can shoot 400 images.
