It features a 24.2 MP DX-Format sensor that combines with the EXPEED 4 processor for capturing videos and photos with amazing color accuracy, dynamic range, detail, and low-light sensitivity. The 39-point Multi-CAM 4800DX autofocus system, which has 9 cross-type sensors, comes in handy for instantly getting focus in lighting conditions that range from -1 to +19 EV. The built-in SnapBridge app, with the assistance of Bluetooth, WiFi, or NFC connectivity options, makes it easy to transfer captured content to a mobile device.

Optics and Focus

The Nikon D5600 comes with two lenses: a 70–300 mm f/4.5–6.3G ED telephoto lens and an 18–55 mm f/3.5–5.6G VR lens. Both lenses come in handy for a wide range of photography applications. The ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 25,600 and the shutter operates at a speed of up to 1/4000th of a second. The 39-point Multi-CAM 4800DX autofocus system, which features 9 cross-type sensors, helps in quickly acquiring focus in lighting conditions that range from -1 to +19 EV. Additionally, the exposure and white-balance modes, as well as the metering methods, are ideal for a variety of photography tasks.

Sensor and Screen

This camera uses a 24.2 MP DX-Format sensor that enables you to shoot pictures and Full HD footage with astounding detail, dynamic range, low-light sensitivity, and color accuracy. The 3.2-inch vari-angle touchscreen offers a 170° viewing angle and a resolution of up to 1.04 million dots to provide excellent clarity for content playback, effortless navigation through the settings menus, and shooting in live-view mode. The eye-level pentamirror optical viewfinder makes it easy to view your subjects clearly, even under bright light.

Image and Video

The D5600 from Nikon captures RAW and JPEG photos at a resolution of up to 6000x4000 pixels, along with 1080p Full HD footage at 60 fps in the MOV format. Capture images continuously at a maximum burst rate of 5 fps. The EXPEED 4 processor renders pictures and Full HD videos with incredible speed and quality. Use the time-lapse movie-recording mode for capturing your subjects as they change over periods of time. Moreover, the Active D-Lighting function enables you to preserve both highlight and shadow details while working in back light and other contrast-rich situations.

Other Features

The integrated SnapBridge app in the D5600 enables you to send your captured videos and photos to a Bluetooth-enabled device. You can even do this by using the camera’s NFC or WiFi connectivity facilities. Use the wide range of special-effects and scene modes for getting creative with your stills. The integrated pop-up flash makes it possible to shoot bright pictures in areas that have low light. A reliable 1230 mAh EN-EL14a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack powers this DSLR camera.

That configuration may have two single elements and the other four grouped in pairs.
