The felt material flocked inside the opening helps minimize internal reflections. The adapter also supports 5-axis in-body image stabilization for select lenses. For added flexibility, the adapter’s tripod foot is detachable and can be used with Arca Swiss, Markins, and Photo Clam ball heads. This smart adapter is powered by the camera body, which means no external power source is needed. Moreover, the LED light provides an indication of the operation mode in use, optical image stabilization activity, and communication status.
