Overview

The Canon Selphy CP1300 Compact Photo Printer makes it easy to convert your digital images into tangible photographs. It comes with Wi-Fi connectivity that allows you to issue printing tasks directly from your smartphone or tablet. You can also take prints from a memory card by inserting it in the SD card slot or use USB 2.0 port via PictBridge for cameras. The dye sublimation technology provides 300×300 dpi prints with 256-bit color depth. The prints have a shelf life of 100 years if they are stored in a dry and dust-free space. A single 4×6-inch postcard takes 47 seconds while the 2.1×3.4-inch card takes 39 seconds to get printed. The tilting LCD and control buttons make the printer operation intuitive. The Canon KP-108IN color ink-paper set is provided with the printer. Additionally, a USB type A male with USB mini-B 5-pin male cable and microfiber cloth is included in the package.

I hope this unit is an upgrade of its predecessor which I bought. The idea behind this is terrific. We printed numerous pictures from our IPhones. It was great until it wasn’t. The internal components are not well constructed. If you purchase it make sure you buy the protection policy which I did not since I guarantee the unit will break down.
