Overview

The silver-colored, pocket-sized PowerShot G9 X Mark II Digital Camera from Canon is a lightweight and ultra-slim gadget for people who enjoy shooting casual pictures on the go. It features a 20.1 MP high-sensitivity CMOS sensor that allows you to capture high-quality stills and footage. The DIGIC 7 image processor can render images and videos with a combination of speed and quality. The Dynamic IS helps keep the frame steady, even during movements, keeping at bay any blurring. The NFC, WiFi, and Bluetooth technologies in this camera give you the freedom to transfer videos and images to a wide range of similarly compatible devices.

Optics and Focus

The Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II uses a 3x optical zoom lens, which comes with an aperture of f/2.0–4.9 and a focal length of 28–84 mm. The Dynamic IS reduces camera blurs, which is essential for taking pictures of subjects moving at a rapid speed. The shutter speed ranges from 30 seconds to 1/2000th of a second in all shooting modes, and the ISO ranges from 125 to 12,800. Use the Exposure and White Balance modes for assistance in various photography situations.

Sensor and Screen

The PowerShot G9 X Mark II Digital Camera from Canon is equipped with a 20.1 MP high-sensitivity CMOS sensor, which lets you capture high-quality videos and images. The three-inch Touch Panel LCD screen provides a coverage of up to 100% and has a 1.04-million-dot resolution.

Image and Video

This camera not only lets you capture JPEG and RAW images at a resolution of up to 5472x3072 pixels, but also records 1080p Full HD videos in the MP4 format at a maximum frame rate of 60 fps. The DIGIC 7 image processor renders stills and footage with an impressive combination of speed and quality. You can perform continuous shooting at an 8.2-fps frame rate. The Time-Lapse Movie function can be used for condensing long stretches of time into short, compelling, high-resolution videos with true-to-life clarity for added creativity. The in-camera RAW conversion enables you to adjust the multiple aspects of a photo after you capture it, without even using a computer.

Other Features

The Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II Digital Camera is equipped with Bluetooth, NFC, and WiFi technologies for transferring stills and footage to a variety of similarly compatible devices. The Picture Style function gives you the freedom to choose among eight presets that tweak the color, contrast, and other aspects of your pictures to fine-tune how your photo looks. The built-in HDMI port allows you to connect the camera to an HDTV for viewing your captured videos and images directly on the latter. This camera is powered by an NB-13L battery pack.
