Overview

The Canon EOS 80D DSLR with 18-135 mm IS USM and 55-250 mm IS STM Lenses Kit is a well-equipped, handy gadget that is ideal for professional photographers. It is equipped with a 24.2 MP APS-C CMOS sensor, which combines with the DIGIC 6 image processor for rendering high-resolution content with remarkable clarity and minimal noise. The 45-Point All Cross-Type AF provides a quick and precise focus in difficult lighting conditions down to -3 EV, whereas the Dual Pixel CMOS AF offers a smooth and fast autofocus in the same way as a camcorder. The NFC and WiFi connectivity facilities enable you to share content wirelessly to tablets or smartphones or backing up content to the Canon Connect Station CS100.

Optics and Focus

The EOS 80D DSLR camera from Canon comes with the EF-S 55-250 mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens and the EF-S 18-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens, which is both equipped with an image stabilizer for minimizing camera shake. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF provides a smooth and fast autofocus in a similar manner as a camcorder, while the 45-Point All Cross-Type AF offers a quick and precise focus in complicated lighting conditions down to -3 EV. The shutter operates at its highest speed of 1/8000th of a second, while the extended ISO ranges between 100 and 25,600. Use the metering methods, as well as the White Balance and Exposure modes, are helpful for a variety of photography situations.

Sensor and Screen

The Canon EOS 80D features a 24.2 MP APS-C CMOS sensor for rendering high-resolution pictures and videos with less noise and stunning clarity. The 3-inch rear LCD swivel touchscreen offers a resolution of 1,040,000 dots and a 170° diagonal viewing angle for working at both high and low angles in an effortless manner. The 22 mm Pentaprism viewfinder, which offers a 0.95x magnification, is useful under bright lighting conditions, where it becomes hard to use the LCD screen. The screen and viewfinder both provide a total coverage of 100%.

Image and Video

This camera lets you take RAW and JPEG pictures at its maximum resolution of 6000 x 4000 pixels, along with 1080p Full HD movies at 60 fps in the MP4 format. The DIGIC 6 image processor can process videos and photos at a high rate of speed without losing out on quantity. Capture up to 25 RAW frames or 110 JPEG frames at a burst rate of up to 7 fps. Use the Time-Lapse Movie function to combine still pictures, which are taken at set intervals, into a silent movie for depicting motion that occurs over a long time scale.

Other Features

The EOS 80D’s built-in WiFi and NFC connectivity options make it possible to share content wirelessly with a wide range of similarly compatible smartphones and tablets or backing up photos and videos to the Canon Connect Station CS100. Express your creativity on your images and videos by using the numerous Creative Filters included in this camera. This camera runs on an 1865 mAh LP-E6N rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack.
