The B+W 49mm Kaesemann High Transmission Circular Polarizer MRC Filter offers a 1 to 1.5 stop loss. It filters out polarized light and helps to diminish reflections and glares. Light becomes polarized when it reflects off any non-metallic surface, including electrons in molecules of air. The filter arranges the polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light to allow for better absorption. Along with the Kaesemann HTC foils, the filter offers 99.5% light transmission and provides noticeable improvements in color saturation and tonality of the photos. The filter contains a quarter wave plane that allows you to use autofocus and exposure settings without errors. The substrate of the filter has a multi-resistant coating to provide protection from dirt and humidity.
