The B+W 37mm Kaesemann High Transmission Circular Polarizer MRC Filter helps in reducing reflections and glare by filtering out polarized light. Natural sunlight gets polarized due to reflecting off electrons in air molecules, which causes light to scatter and make images appear hazy. The filter arranges the polarized light directionally perpendicular to the reflected light, which allows for better absorption and noticeable reduction in glares and reflections from non-metallic surfaces. The filter substrate includes a multi-resistant coating that protects it against humidity and dust. The filter makes use of Kaesemann HTC foils that are placed between plano-parallel optical glass surfaces. The foils are then precision-polished to achieve a highly accurate plano-parallel surface. The filter is made from Schott glass for increased color fidelity and optical clarity. It even features an F-Pro brass filter ring that does not bind to the aluminum housing of the lens to prevent jamming and increase durability.
