Creators, meet the camera you’ve been looking for. The Z 30 is packed with the features you need, like a front-facing screen, crisp 4K video, crystal-clear audio and worry-free autofocus. Designed to inspire your best work with easy operation, smart connectivity and convenience.
Stand out among a competitive field of streamers with Full HD 60p and 4K 30p video quality. Also works great with compatible web conferencing applications. *Third part capture device and USB-C to USB-C cable is required for optimal streaming performance.
In Eye-Detect AF Mode, eye and face tracking will lock onto the eyes of people, dogs and cats and even follows them in movement. While in Auto Area AF Mode, the autofocus is so reliable that it will automatically reposition when you hold something up to the camera.
The Nikon Z30 features a Red REC lamp to let you know when you're recording at any point in time. With included selfie controls via the flexible LCD screen, simple tap on the screen to change focus positions and adjust brightness while recording video. When shooting photos, you can also set the self-timer directly from the screen. Due to the LCD flexibility in rotation, you are provided extra travel protection since the screen can close inward to avoid fingerprints, smudges, or scratches during travel.
With the ability to build a custom menu, and access it with the press of a button, you will have a shortcut to the settings that you use the most. The Nikon Z30 also features an Auto Mode setting to allow you to focus on the content you are shooting, while you camera will select the best settings for your situation.
Both the Z30 kit lenses have powerful image stabilization technology that reduces shakiness when you're walking and talking. The Z30 also has built-in e-VR when you want extra stabilization for videos.
When using the Z30 in combination with the Nikon SnapBridge app you will have the ability to see what the camera sees, start and stop recording, and take photos from your phone while being the star of the show. Alternatively, you can utilize the optional Bluetooth Remote (included in the Creator's Accessory Kit) to start and stop recording, take photos, control playback, and even access your menus from a distance.
Whether you are shooting long or short content, you have the ability to constantly power the camera via the USB-Type C port to shoot all day long. Simply plug in the USB-Type C to Type-C cable (like the Nikon UC-E25 sold separately). Though regardless of the ability to power constantly, the Z30 can record for up to 125 minutes depending on battery life and the camera's internal temperature.
If you ever need help, just tap the "?" button! You always will have access to a short, clear explanation of what each camera setting does, that way you can learn as you use the camera. After you are done shooting either video, or photos, simply transfer photos to your smart device for easy sharing. When using the SnapBridge app you can wirelessly share between the Z30 and a compatible smartphone or tablet in the moment.
With the 16-50mm lens, you get an all-purpose wide-angle zoom lens with image stabilization. It's great for selfie videos, hot-to demos, testimonials and more.
The 50-250mm Lens is a lightweight telephoto zoom lens with image stabilization. It allows you to get closer to your distant subjects while creating beautiful blurred backgrounds.
If you even wanted to try another lens not mentioned here you have a full range of options within the Nikon Z lens line. You can find anything from close-up macro lenses to fast prime lenses, so you can find your personal style.
