overview

Click stunning photographs or record 4K videos underwater with the Panasonic TS7A Waterproof Camera. Its built-in Lumix DC Vario lens offers 4.6× optical zoom that extends up to 9×. The Panasonic TS7A remains waterproof at 101.7 feet below water. Its shock- and impact-resistant body allows you to handle the camera during adventurous moments without any worry. The camera captures pictures and videos by using the 20.4 MP MOS sensor. Along with UHD 4K recording, the camera also takes 4K burst shots at 30 fps. The POWER O.I.S. cuts down the appearance of camera shakes. The 3.0-inch LCD with automatic brightness adjustment ensures clarity when viewing in bright conditions. Enable the built-in Wi-Fi to transfer photos to smartphones or tablets. The integrated front LED gives a clear view when traversing through a dark area. On a fully-charged 1250 mAh Li-ion battery, the camera can capture approximately 300 shots with the rear LCD and 250 shots with the electronic viewfinder.

Optics and Focus

The Lumix DC Vario lens that comes with this Panasonic camera has a 35mm-equivalent focal range of 28–128mm to provide 4.6× optical zoom. You can also adjust the aperture from f/3.3 to f/18. The lens uses 10 optical elements arranged in 8 groups, of which 5 reduce spherical distortions at the edges. With the Extra Optical Zoom function, you can crop an image in-camera and use the intelligent zoom features. This Panasonic camera comes with the POWER O.I.S. that minimizes camera shakes when shooting on the go. The native ISO of 3200 can be expanded to 6400 for recording bright images in low light. The AF-S and AF focus modes offer accuracy in subject tracking. You may also readjust the focus after taking a picture.

Sensor and Screen

This Panasonic camera takes images and videos with the 20.4 MP MOS sensor. Its high sensitivity to light makes underwater photography and video shooting easy. The 3.0-inch LCD provides a 1.04m-dot resolution view of scenes. Also, it has a tempered glass shielding that protects from impacts. The automatic brightness adjustment increases or decreases the illumination as per the lighting condition. A 1.17m-dot Live View Finder is also included to compose shots from eye level.

Image and Video

The Panasonic TS7A captures JPEG images with a maximum resolution of 5184×3888 pixels and records UHD 4K videos at 30 fps. For Full HD 1080p recording, the camera offers a maximum frame rate of 60 fps that makes it ideal for creating slow-motion effects in post-processing. In addition to the 10 fps continuous capture, the camera offers three 4K burst modes that provide 8 MP shots at 30 fps. The Panasonic TS7A includes different creative control modes and scene guides that make every photography experience unique.
