IMAGES ARE FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY
Retro in design and modern in features, the Fujifilm X100T Silver offers every photography enthusiast the best of both worlds. It features a 16.3 MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, which uses an X-Trans pixel array to capture high-quality imagery with reduced moiré and aliasing, without having to use an optical low-pass filter. The EXR Processor II is capable of rendering imagery with a blend of speed and quality, even in low-light conditions. Use the Intelligent Hybrid AF, which employs both contrast- and phase-detection methods, for acquiring focus instantly. Also, the inbuilt WiFi connectivity enables you to transfer your captured content to other WiFi-enabled devices and control the camera remotely.
Optics and Focus
The X100T from Fujifilm is equipped with a Fujinon 23 mm f/2 fixed-focal-length lens, whose optics are constructed with eight elements in six groups, along with an aspherical lens element for minimizing aberrations and distortions. Also, the HT-EBC coating reduces lens ghosting and flares, while retaining the color fidelity and image contrast. The Intelligent Hybrid AF uses both contrast- and phase-detection methods to instantly acquire focus. The extended ISO sensitivity is adjustable between 100 and 51,200, while the maximum mechanical shutter speed stands at 1/32,000th of a second. The exposure and white-balance modes, along with the exposure-metering modes, come in handy for a variety of photography scenarios.
Sensor and Screen
This Fuji camera’s 16.3 MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor makes use of an X-Trans pixel array for capturing high-quality stills and footage with less moiré and aliasing, without an optical low-pass filter. The 3-inch rear LCD screen offers a resolution of 1,040,000 dots and a screen coverage of 100% for viewing the captured content and accessing menus with immense clarity. The Advanced Hybrid viewfinder, which offers a total coverage of 92%, comes in handy under ambient-lighting situations, where it generally becomes hard to use the LCD screen.
Image and Video
In addition to capturing JPEG and RAW stills at a resolution of up to 4896×3264 pixels, the X100T records Full HD 1080p footage at 60 fps in the H.264 and MOV formats. The EXR Processor II helps in rendering your pictures and videos at a high speed and quality, even in dimly lit conditions. You can perform continuous shooting of images at a burst rate of 6 fps. The face-detection function automatically detects human faces and sets the focus and exposure settings to ensure no subject is left out when taking group photos. Also, the multiple-exposure mode allows you to overlay imagery in the camera itself for certain photography applications.
The Fujifilm X100T’s built-in WiFi connectivity lets you control the camera remotely from your smartphone or tablet, by downloading the Fujifilm Camera Remote app. It also allows you to transfer your captured photos and videos to other WiFi-enabled devices. The Geotagging function, with the help of your connected smartphone, lets you embed location data in the image files for use with interactive maps. Use the eight advanced filters for getting creative with your pictures. The power in the 1,800 mAh NP-95 rechargeable Lithium-ion battery pack lasts for up to 700 shots on a full charge.
