Overview

The Nikon D7500 DSLR Camera with 16–80mm Lens Kit is the ideal pick for beginner photographers. This camera can be used with any other Nikon F-mount lens as well. It comes with a 20.9 MP CMOS sensor and an EXPEED 5 image processor that together offer a stunning picture quality in varied light conditions. This camera also generates 4K videos at 30 fps and full HD videos at 60 fps. The native ISO sensitivity of 51200 can be extended to 1640000. The Nikon D7500 has a 51-point multi-cam 3500FX II autofocus system that includes 15 cross-type points. Moreover, it has a pentaprism viewfinder and a 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD for composing shots and navigating through different functions, respectively. While this camera comes with a pop-up flash, a hot shoe is also provided for attaching an external flash.

Optics and Focus

An AF-S DX Nikkor 16–80mm f/2.8–4E ED VR lens is included in this Nikon camera kit. It has 17 optical elements arranged in 13 groups. In these elements, there are three aspherical and four extra-low dispersion elements to eliminate chromatic and spherical inconsistencies. The Vibration Reduction image stabilizer brings down camera shakes by up to four stops. With the silent-wave motor, the lens ensures a fast autofocus without making any noise. The camera's 51-point multi-cam 3500FX II AF system has 15 cross-type sensors for a precise focus operation. Moreover, the intelligent scene-recognition system maintains focus on the subject with its 3D tracking abilities. The camera has a native ISO of 51200 that you may increase up to 1640000. With a maximum shutter speed of 1/8000th of a second, the camera can capture fast-moving objects.

Sensor and Screen

The 20.9 MP CMOS sensor ensures that each captured photo is accurate and vibrant, no matter what the ambient lighting is like. The camera has a tilting 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD that offers 922K-dot resolution. The 0.94× pentaprism viewfinder offers 100% coverage of scenes. The diopter of the viewfinder can be adjusted between -2 and +1 m.

Image and Video

The Nikon D7500 DSLR can capture 14-bit images in both JPEG and RAW formats with a maximum resolution of 5568×3712 dpi. Also, it can record 4K videos at 30 fps and full HD videos at 60 fps. In the burst mode, you can capture eight shots in a second. You may also give a distinct feel to your captured photos with the different scene-selection and special-effect modes.

Other Features

This Nikon camera allows you to share captured pictures and videos to other devices through the built-in WiFi. You may also use SnapBridge for sharing via Bluetooth. With the pop-up flash, you can conveniently shoot in the dark. With the hot shoe and dedicated iTTL system, an external flash can also be attached to this camera. The self-timer function offers a shutter delay up to 20 seconds. Moreover, you may capture cinematic time-lapse shots by switching to the camera's interval-recording mode. The camera can click up to 950 shots on a fully-charged EN-EL15a Li-ion battery. Thanks to its weather-sealed construction, the camera can be used in almost any weather condition.

That configuration may have two single elements and the other four grouped in pairs.
